What is the Process?
Once you have purchased one of our packages, your boarding pass is valid for two full years. Should you have your boarding pass, you can book a flight by email, phone or even on one of our community sites.

When and where do we fly?
We fly from April to October on weekends during the hours after sunrise and before sunset. You can choose from three flight areas, Budapest, Gyor and Szeged. More information about the locations can be found here.
What can you expect?
Basically, the wind determines our direction and speed, thus there are no two identical flights, which makes hot air ballooning so special. We never know where we will fly or where we will land.
How long is the program?
The flight is a 3-4 hour program of which we spend about 1 hour in the air. The rest of the time will consist of check-in before take-off, briefing, setting up the balloon, celebration with champagne after landing, handing out the flight certificate and returning to the meeting point.
How high do we fly?
The flight altitude is always up to the pilot, but usually our cruise altitude is about 100-300 meters (300-900 feet). The upper limit of our airspace is 1000 meters (3000 feet).
How many Passengers are there in the Balloon?
During our pleasure flights we fly with 6-8 people at a time.
Can children fly?
Children can fly with us from the age of 6 but only accompanied by an adult. For children the sound of the burner can be scary, so it’s worth to check one of our take-offs with them before flight.
How can I book a flight?
A boarding pass for any package is valid for two full years. Once you have made your purchase, you can book via email, phone or our community sites. It is usually enough to book 1-2 weeks before the scheduled time, but it is possible earlier. Boarding passes are non-refundable, but transferable to others.
What happens if my flight is cancelled?
Our team constantly monitors the weather for safe flights. If a flight is canceled due to weather conditions, you can reschedule it at any time during the period of validity of your ticket.
Is Hot Air Ballooning safe?
Ballooning is one of the safest means of flying. For our well-trained and experienced team, safety always comes first!

How should I dress for a flight?
There is no significant difference in temperature from ground level to our flight altitude, so we recommend that you wear seasonal, sporty clothing with closed shoes. A cap or hat can be useful to protect against the heat of the burner.
